Essential Functions:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow standardized work procedures.
- Ability to produce quality parts that meet company/customer specifications.
- Record daily production and scrap in ERP system.
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed work instructions, blueprints, and/or drawings.
- Ability to follow daily schedules and meet production goals.
- Follow industry and company policies, procedures and safety standards at all times.
- Effectively communicates any issues affecting production to the team lead or supervisor
- Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs. Activities include lifting, stooping, twisting and bending on a regular basis.
- Set up, adjust, and operate a press brake to perform a wide variety of operations.
- Properly change tooling, ram position, ram speed and backstop position as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Receive work order through Plex
- Review, obtain and set-up tooling
- Press first piece and adjust press brake as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ year press brake experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Have basic math skills, i.e., be able to count, subtract, multiply and divide
- Have basic computer skills
- Have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors.
- Be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Be able to lift up-to 20 lbs on a regular basis. Occasionally lift up-to 40 lbs.
- Proficiency with hand tools.
- Ability to properly set up and operate Brake Press
- Working knowledge of calipers, micrometers, and tape measures, etc.
- Able to communicate well with others.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Great attention to detail.
- Great Attitude, Energy, Effort, and Attendance.
