Essential Functions:
  1. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow standardized work procedures.
  2. Ability to produce quality parts that meet company/customer specifications.
  3. Record daily production and scrap in ERP system.
  4. Ability to read and comprehend detailed work instructions, blueprints, and/or drawings.
  5. Ability to follow daily schedules and meet production goals.
  6. Follow industry and company policies, procedures and safety standards at all times.   
  7. Effectively communicates any issues affecting production to the team lead or supervisor 
  8. Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs.  Activities include lifting, stooping, twisting and bending on a regular basis.
  • Set up, adjust, and operate a press brake to perform a wide variety of operations.
  • Properly change tooling, ram position, ram speed and backstop position as needed.
  1. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  2. Receive work order through Plex
  3. Review, obtain and set-up tooling
  4. Press first piece and adjust press brake as needed 
  5. Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year press brake experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Have basic math skills, i.e., be able to count, subtract, multiply and divide
  • Have basic computer skills
  • Have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors.
  • Be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Be able to lift up-to 20 lbs on a regular basis.  Occasionally lift up-to 40 lbs.
  • Proficiency with hand tools.
  • Ability to properly set up and operate Brake Press
  1. Working knowledge of calipers, micrometers, and tape measures, etc.
  • Able to communicate well with others.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Great Attitude, Energy, Effort, and Attendance.
